Effects of Ingesting Amino Acids Simultaneously with Glucose and Fat on Postchallenge Metabolism in Healthy Young Women

Aim: To investigate the effects of ingesting amino acids simultaneously with glucose and fat on postchallenge glycemia lipidemia. Methods: The subjects were eleven healthy young Japanese women (age 21.1 ± 0.1 y). In each session, ingested one three beverages in a randomized crossover design. Materials used an acid mixture (Amizet B™, 0.6 g/kg body weight, 60 mg/kg as acids), (1 weight), cream (OFTT™ cream, 1 0.35 fat). follows: (A trial), (GF or glucose, (GFA trial). Venous blood samples obtained before (0) 0.5, 1, 2, 3 h after ingestion A trial 0, 4, 6 GF GFA trials. Results: alone (without glucose) slightly stimulated secretion insulin, both insulin glucagon levels significantly increased without changes level. Co-ingestion reduced rise, addition suppressed reduction rise. There no significant lipid lipoprotein metabolism compared to fat.
